Flood

First post in February. My home has been flooded for three days since Friday. I didn't go to work on Friday and it was a good decision coz I heard on the radio that flood was everywhere and the traffic jam was very awful. Later that day I also got a call from office letting me know the number to contact in emergency ie I need to be evacuated and that there are rooms provided at Sultan Hotel as a safe house. I was impressed.

I spent my time by watching Nip Tuck season 2. Finished it yesterday morning. Then watched Saw 3. A great movie... Very gruesome ;D. Attended afternoon mass and there were very few people who attended. The lowest attendance rate that I've ever seen. I think there're only about 50 people who attended.

This year flood is like the one in 2002...the difference is my home was only flooded for one day that time. This time, it's been flooded for three days and there are no signs that it will get better soon.

Update on Feb 6, 2007.... I was kinda distracted when I was writing this entry on Feb 4, 2007.
After a huge rain this morning at around 4 AM, the water rose and now it reached 55cm... Darn.... I couldn't go to the office. Well...beside being isolated, there were some good sides from this flood. Finished watching Heroes episode 1-9 yesterday. Had a great chat these last two days. The important thing that the electricity was still on, otherwise, I'd like to be evacuated immidiately...
Well...I can't think of anything else beside hoping that this condition will get better soon. So help us, God.....

Speaking of God, it's amazing how we'll easily remember Him (to those who believes in Him) in difficult time, like now, while on the other hand sometimes (or often) we completely forget Him in our best moments, in our success, in our happy times. Dunno what this flood means...but I'm sure it teaches us to remember Him and to be perseverant in time like this.
