I’m currently listening to True Worshipper’s Bersyukurlah pada Tuhan at this moment. That’s what I want to say…It’s been an incredible week. Started on Monday, January 16, 2006. Read this excellent vacancy on the Canadian Embassy and I was very interested. So I pushed myself to learn the material for CCNA. Well didn’t work very well coz it needed practical approach. And then I called Novi n Regina at Bhinneka to ask about IBM ThinkPad R51e price etc. I eliminated the other candidates so there were only 2 candidates left, ThinkPad R51e and NEC Versa E3100 1700DW. Factors that were taken into consideration include price. ThinkPad only cost US$ 899, while NEC cost US$ 1298. I needed extra money to upgrade the memory and buy additional accessories such as 1GB memory, mouse, kensington lock, and a backpack. And about the deisgn, I like IBM (actually it’s Lenovo now) much better cause it’s more stylish. It looked elegant, simple and professional.
On Wednesday I had a meeting on ASEAN Foundation, met Mr. Niko, he was very friendly and still young. I managed to squeeze some time to go to Mangga Dua to see ThinkPad R51e and NEC Versa display. I found a store that had ThinkPad on its display. I got a very good look on ThinkPad and I liked it. It’s not heavy, not like I had imagined it would be. So on my way back to the office I called Agus and confirmed to buy ThinkPad. He gave me a very good price. I asked him to upgrade the memory, but he said he didn’t have the memory in stock. I might have to wait to get it. I asked him when can I get the notebook. He said I can get it in the afternoon. So I went to Pinangsia after office hour. The traffic jam at P Jayakarta was very awful. I arrived at Pinangsia at 6 sth PM. Agus waited for me. I tried the notebook. It was excellent. Talked to him for a while, found out that he already had a gf…wow. Then I went back home. N tried the notebook at home. I was very pleased with it, though it only I even got the bag. But I prefer backpack anyway.
At Thursday I transferred some money to pay Agus. Nothing eventful happened on Thursday, so it just passed like usual. Friday morning I went to Binus to give my CV at Binus Career. I applied for MT-IT position at ACC. Coming to Binus always brought fond memories…sigh.. Went to the office at 9 AM, arrived at office at almost 11 AM. Then at about 11 sth AM the disaster came. All of the computers in my office was attacked by viruses. I practically had nothing to do. Played pool in lunch time at La Forca. The day went by slowly and it was very very dull. Went back home early and wathed Coyote Ugly. It was good movie. I watched the 1st 60minutes and then went to store. Continued watching after I got back from store. There was Alex Band The Calling singing Wherever You Will Go in one of the scene. There was also Lee Ann Rimes’ Can’t Fight The Moonlight. Bridget Moynahan was different in the movie. She looked wild n sexy, very different with her roles in Serendipity, The Recruit, even in The Sex And The City. In overall, it was good movie. Went to sleep at about 1 AM I think.
Then came Saturday, the busiest day in whole week. Woke up at 7, took a bath then went to ASEAN Hall to play badminton with double Julius, Dicky n Budi. It was incredible. Played till 11 AM and then went to TA to get my pic at Freeze Frame. Then I went to Gramedia, bought some posters and called Diana. She was at TA too. I met her and we had a cup of coffee at Reed. After that I went to Ii Awan’s to get mom’s stool n plants, and also some cookies…It was another hectic traffic near Roxy. I had to cancel my plan to go to King Foto cause it was already 3 PM. So I went home, hurried to Ramayana to buy a tie, got a nice shirt as well. Then I took a bath, went to make passport size photograph. Then attended the afternoon mass. I went home feeling very exhausted. It’s been over a month since I last played badminton and it got me feeling so tired. But it was good….damn good.
Woke up at about 9.30 AM… that’s when the misery started. My right arms, upper n lower, my right side shoulder, my calves were throbbing. It seemed I pushed myself too hard on Saturday. So on Sunday I was just relaxing..Took a nap and then watched Stealth using my new laptop….yippieee….my new lappie…. Jessica Biel was beautiful in the movie and I was pleased that my lappie display was excellent though it was an action movie with lots of explosions and fast scenes. Yeahhhhhh….
Yesterday I got some great surprises. First Grace called me n she said that she will start to work tomorrow (which is today) and then she came in the afternoon. The second was a phone call from Accenture. I was very surprised to hear from her again. She asked me when I can join them. I was flattered n excited cause in the morning, my director just gave another blow saying that internet access for sales maybe limited to one PC. It just pushed me more to leave immediately. It was raining very hard yesterday. I got home a lil bit late, at about 6.30 PM. Then I copied some of my data (read collection) to my 120 GB HDD. After that I went to store, got back n went online to send email to PC Plus and Accenture.
Today’s went quite well. Went to the office at 6.48 AM, ate breakfast at office. Yeah, today’s Grace’s first day at work. Accenture called me again, arranged for tomorrow. Played pool at La Forca…well so far that’s about it.
Thank you God, for the job opportunities, notebook, badminton, all the little things that have happened…..for everything.

Leann Rimes - Can't Fight The Moonlight
Under the lovers sky
Gonna be with you
And no one's gonna be around
If you think that you won't fall
Well just wait until
'Til the sun goes down
Underneath the starlight, starlight
There's a magical feeling so right
It will steal your heart tonight
chorus:
You can try to resist
Try to hide from my kiss
but you know, but you know
That you, can't fight the moonlight
Deep in the dark, you'll surrender your heart
But you know, But you know that you
Can't fight the moonlight..No
You can't fight it...
It's gonna get to your heart
There's no escaping love
Once a gentle breeze
Weaves a spell upon your heart
No matter what you think
It won't be too long
'Til you're in my arms
Underneath the starlight, starlight
We'll be lost in the rhythm so right
Feel it steal your heart tonight
You can try to resist
Try to hide from my kiss
But you know, But you know
That you can't fight the moonlight
Deep in the dark, you'll surrender your heart
But you know, but you know that you
Can't fight the moonlight...No
You can't fight it...
No matter what you do
The light is gonna get to you
Don't try, you're never gonna win, oh
Underneath the starlight, starlight,
There's a magical feeling, so right
It'll steal your heart tonight
You can try to resist, try to hide from my kiss
But you know, but you know that you
Can't fight the moonlight
Deep in the dark, you'll surrender your heart,
But you know, but you know that you
Can't fight the moonlight
No, you can't fight it
You can try to resist, try to hide from my kiss
But you know, don’t you know that you
can't fight the moonlight
Deep in the dark, you'll surrender your heart,
But you know, but you know that you
Can't fight the moonlight
No, you can't fight it
It's gonna get to your heart...
The Calling - Wherever You Will Go
So lately, been wondering
Who will be there to take my place
When I'm gone you'll need love to light the shadows on your face
If a greater wave shall fall and fall upon us all
Then between the sand and stone could you make it on your own.
Chorus
If I could, then I would
I'll go wherever you will go
Way up high or down low, I'll go wherever you will go
And maybe, I'll find out
A way to make it back someday
To watch you, to guide you, through the darkest of your days
If a greater wave shall fall and fall upon us all
Well then I hope there's someone out there
who can bring me back to you
Chorus
Runaway with my heart
Runaway with my hope
Runaway with my love
I know now, just quite how
My life and love might still go on
In your heart, in your mind I'll stay with you for all of time
Chorus
If I could turn back time
I'll go wherever you will go
If I could make you mine
I'll go wherever you will go
I'll go wherever you will go
