Yesterday’s been blast. Dinner at Samudra. Met the zoo class and it was fabulous. We had so much laugh. Then the 5 of us went to karaoke at Happy Puppy, but it was closed. So we went NAV Megamall, but it was also closed. So we drop Devi at her house and went to Markas to play pool a bit. The tables were good. At around 1.30 AM we went to Mille, but it was closed (I guess it was due to Idul Adha day). We went to Sands, it was also closed. It seemed like every entertainment place was closed. But we saw some hookers waiting for customers near Gajah Mada. We went back to Dave’s apartment, to shapez café, sat there and finished drinking Cointreau that Robert bought earlier. We were introduced to Lisa, a living legend for her drinking skill. She drank cointreau shot by shot, even Robert gave up and admitted her ‘talent’. Since Robert gave up so I accompanied her to drink, finished up 1 bottle of Cointreau. Lucky for me I only drank about two glasses. We drank and talked all nite till 7.30 in the morning. Exchanged interesting and humiliating stories when we were drunk. It was very hilarious. We laughed and laughed all the time. Lisa invited us to go to Club 36 to celebrate New Year, but I had a dinner with the big family and I thought I had enough indulge with the beer and Cointreau, so I had to say no. I got her cell phone # for future references. I must give it up to Lisa, she’s a hardcore drinker….
Today I slept till 12 PM, woke up, ate a very late breakfast n then watched Pirates of the Caribbean. Then I went to St. James church, attending the afternoon mass there. Got these lines from a radio that I was listening while driving. We live in a very high paced life. We all always seem in hurry doing things from one to another. We get caught up in a routine that we always do every day without realizing what is the purpose of all that. New Year time is actually a very good time to sit back and reflect for a while. Think carefully what’s really important for us in our life so we can prioritize. That way we can avoid doing all the things that seem important coz we can never do them all with the time we have. It’s an excellent time to reflect what have we done in the past year, what are our hopes and dreams that we want to achieve in the following year. And I’m sure it’s gonna be very difficult to get a quite time, not to mention thinking about all these stuffs at Club 36.. I’d be too busy with Black Label or Chivas….lolzz.
In short, it’s been a splendid year end, so splendid that words aren’t enough (and will never be enough I think) to describe it. Thank you God.
