Wanted to write this journal entry for quite some time, but I just couldn’t find the time to do it. Work’s been great, not too busy lately, but every time I wanted to sit back and start to write, I got an assignment to finish. So here I am, forcing myself to write this journal. I’m only gonna highlight some events that took place in my first weeks of 2007.
Dave asked me to go to Mille on January 9. Actually I was very reluctant to go, but since it was his last day in Jakarta, I agreed. He opened a balcony room, Newcastle. To my surprise it there weren’t too many people at that time. We stayed there until almost 5 AM. Night life is really not my type. The music was good, but that’s it. Nothing else made me interested. Went back to the apartment, ate a bit of breakfast and I lied down for a while, took a shower then went straight to work. Luckily that day I didn’t get much to do coz I’m sure I looked like a zombie. Went back home, took a bath and then went to sleep for 12 hours…lolz…. What a nite…
On Sunday, January 14, after a couple of months vacuum, I called David, asked him when we should go karaoke again. He said, ”How bout today?” I said okay since my schedule was free. I called up Bowo n Agus n they said they can make it. So we had or first karaoke session in 2007. Maria n Diana came too. As usual, we sang for 3 hours and ordered beer. After that we dropped Diana at her place then we ate at Central restaurant. Peppy’s house was our next destination after we finished eating. It’s been a long time since I last saw Peppy. He had gained some weight. We talked for some time and went back home….. What a beautiful Sunday.
I still continued watching DVDs. The last ones were Nip/Tuck season1. It was good, unfortunately I haven’t bought the 2nd season. Finished watching the other movies and re-organized my HDD. My next target, Nip/Tuck season 2.
Today WG had it first gathering in 2007. The gathering took place at Red Pepper, Plaza Indonesia. After I played badminton I went there, arrived at 12.05 PM. I didn’t see anybody I recognize so I called Shella. She said, she’d be coming over soon. I looked around and went to Ex for a while, then when I came back, they were already there. Shella, Cybelle, Frog n his gf. We sat n no too long after that k1dd5 came. Then Comy came with her daughter. After that Xena, Anezza, Makino, Bo tat n Zein came. It was good to have a gathering again… What a superb Saturday.
In short, it’s been a fantastic first weeks of 2007. Thank You, God.
