What a week. I'm being paid for practically nothing (*shushhh..don't tell my boss...lolzzz). Ermmm...Browsing, Chatting, Blogging, Playing multiplayer games aren't included in working activities, right? Lolzzz...
Well, since Bongki (one of my colleagues) introduced me to CSS in the beginning of January, we've been playing it ever since in our 'self study' time. At first I wasn't too keen on playing coz it wasn't my kind of game, but after giving it a try..It turned to be quite okay and addictive. I think I began to understand why when I was back in univ lots of students played it almost non-stop. When you play it with with your friends, it becomes more exciting (and addictive). And these last two days, we've moved on to a new game to play together. It's none other than the legendary Diablo II : Lord of Destruction. Boy..what a classic game. I remembered playing it few years ago with Eddy. Well, we both played at our homes and compared each other's achievement. But now I play multiplayer with my colleagues and it's more exciting than I thought it'd be.
That's what you get when you work in an IT consulting company. When you're assigned in a project, your life cycle would be sleep-work-sleep. And when you roll off from a project and waiting for the next project assignment...ermmm just like me lahh... *Mel, you have to take responsibility for your contagious singlish... lolzzzz. It's nice to have some relax time.
So last week activities had been the things I've mentioned above. To close this wonderful week, I played my first futsal game in 2008. But not before a quick stop to Gadink mall to buy a new shirt. 126 had 50% off so I took a look and bought a shirt there. It's quite a bargain..:D. I got a muscle (or two?) pulled thanks for pushing myself too hard and that bump with. My right calf still aching and both my knees still in recovery since they both successfully kissed the hard pitch (not the usual turf pitch) quite hard. At least I managed to scored four goals and six assists in two games before I had to quite to the mentioned calf injury. Exhausted, Injured, but fully satisfied..Yeahhhhh....
I think last week I also finished Las Vegas season 1. Bought it because I was curious about Josh Duhamel, the guy who played in Transformers. It turned out to be a good serial. Thanks to Lia, now I have lotzz of home works to finish. Women's Murder Club, Brothers and Sisters, and Bones are waiting to be watched. Bongki also still supplying fresh episodes of Chuck. Mellfie with Prison Break and Gossip Girl (Gossip Girl will be aired again on Feb...Yippieee). Albert will be supplying Smallville. I still have The Unit season 2 left unfinished. So many serials so little time to watch...Seven days a week and 24 hours a day isn't enough....lolzzzz
Yesterday I hibernated and watched Pirates of the Caribbean 3. Yeah I know it's quite old, but hey I just bought the DVD two weeks ago. I better get home now, the road should be clear. Maybe I can watch one episode of The Unit...:D
Craig David - Seven Days
On my way to see my friends
Who lived a couple blocks away from me
As I walked through the subway
Must have been about quater past three
In front of me
Stood a beautiful honey with a beautiful body
She asked me for the time
I said it'd cost her name
A six digit number and a date with
tommorow at nine
Did she decline? No
Didn't she mind? I don't think so
Was it for real? Damn sure?
What was the deal? A pretty girl aged 24
So was she keen? She couldn't wait
Cinnamon queen? Let me update
What did she say? She said she'd love to rendezvous
She asked me what we were gonna do
Said we'd start with a bottle of Moet for two
Reff:
Monday
Took her for a drink on Tuesday
We were making love by Wednesday
And on Thursday and Friday and Saturday
We chilled on Sunday
I met this girl on Monday
Took her for a drink on Tuesday
We were making love by Wednesday
And On Thursday and Friday and Saturday
We chilled on Sunday
Nine was the time
Cos I'll be getting mine
And she was looking fine
Smooth talker she told me
She'd love to unfold me all night long
Ooh I loved the way she kicked it
From the front to back she flipped
(Back she flipped it, the way she kicked
it)
And I oh I yeah
Hope that she'd care
Cos I'm a man who'll always be there
I'm not a man to play around baby
Cos a one night stand isn't really fair
From the first impression girl hmm you
don't seem to be like that
Cos there's no need to chat for there'll
be plenty of time for that
From the subway to my home
Endless ringing of my phone
When you're feeling all alone
All you gotta do
Is just call me call me
Reff
(Break it down, break it down)
Since I met this special lady (ooh, girl)
I can't get her off my mind
She's one of a kind
And I ain't about to deny it
It's a special kind of thing
With you, oh...
Reff
