24 Canadian Beauties (a lesson)

These last two days have been 24 days. Watched 6 episodes yesterday and 6 episodes today. Just finished watching episode 12 and there’s Elisha… her hair was long and she’s beautiful..her hair was real blonde. That’s what I call blonde…reminded me the 1st time I saw her on Girl Next Door. It was then I knew about 24 and become addicted to both Elisha and 24. She’s just irresistible. Canadian girls are beautiful. The list goes on since I found out that Anna Paquin is Canadian too. She was born there and moved to New Zealand at the age of 4. She’s known from her role as Rogue in X-Men and to my surprise, she won Academy award for best supporting actress in Piano, when she was just 11 years old. What a talent. And just like Kristin and Elisha, she’s also born in 1982. Can’t help to use Anna pic as my desktop wallpaper.

Yesterday I also got good news from Accenture. They wanted me to join earlier. I will get my training started on Monday, June 12th 2006. Yeahhhhh…. I believe the lesson that I got from this was faithfulness. God wanted me to be faithful, not just in good times when everything goes smoothly like I want them to, but also in bad times. Last month I had been very active in church activities and honestly I expect things to go as I planned. But it doesn’t always go like that. And it doesn’t mean that God abandons me whatsoever, but if I expect things to go my way, as I want them to then I’ll be insincere. I expect something in return first to do something. I’ll only be good if there’s something in it for me. It’s not right. I have to be faithful and play my role as best as I can, coz I’m sure God has bigger, better plans for me and He will do things according to His time, not mine. I know it may seem hard to believe, especially if you’ve already been in difficult situation for quite long and it seems to get worse, but we can’t lose hope and faith. Those are the things that keep us trying. Have faith….

I would like to quote David’s psalm, one of my favorites.

Psalm 23

The Lord, Shepherd and Host

1) A psalm of David
The LORD is my shepherd; there is nothing I lack

2) In green pastures you let me graze; to safe waters you lead me;

3) you restore my strength. You guide me along the right path for the sake of your name.

4) Even when I walk through a dark valley, I fear no harm for you are at my side; your rod and staff give me courage.

5) You set a table before me as my enemies watch; You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.

6) Only goodness and love will pursue me all days of my life; I will dwell in the house of the LORD for
years to come.
